Assuming that you are visiting Karuizawa you should book a room here. The hotel is renovated and the guest rooms are pretty clean. In general great quality and unique ambience.

This hotel was truly centrally situated and the staff at the reception were there at any time. The beds had been comfy and the people in the hotel have been normally respectful with each other so the atmosphere was nice.The air-con was on and off, but they fix it. Quite pleasant hotel and wonderful area. Undoubtedly advise Le Grand Karuizawa!

I have stayed for 7 nights with my wife. Beds ended up big enough and the room was constantly clean up. The personnel were being incredibly handy and pleasant and constantly took care to make us feel welcome. Rooms are big as well as the closet. Bathroom was clean and also the shower was great. Not a very social hotel at least during our stay.
